Texas Fins and Feathers, under the expert guidance of Captain Robert Peel, invites you to embark on a thrilling fishing adventure departing from the picturesque Port O'Connor, Texas. This charter offers two distinct fishing experiences, catering to all anglers' preferences. Captain Robert Peel is not just your captain but a passionate angler who loves sharing the joy of fishing with fellow enthusiasts. His extensive experience in the sport includes tournament victories, notably securing the first place in the Texas Kingfish Association, attesting to his skill and dedication. For those seeking the thrill of flats and backcountry fishing, you'll set out on an 18’ Silver Dollar airboat that comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. Powered by a robust 502 HP Chevy engine capable of reaching a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots, this vessel is equipped with modern GPS electronics to ensure you stay on course. During this adventure, you'll have numerous opportunities to reel in a variety of species, including Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Redfish, and Flounder. You'll employ various fishing techniques such as jigging, popping, fly fishing, drift fishing, and Flounder gigging. Children are warmly welcomed to join the excursion, and you're free to keep any fish you catch. Alternatively, if you crave the excitement of offshore fishing, you'll board a spacious 36’ offshore sportfishing boat with room for up to 6 anglers. This vessel is equipped with top-notch safety and navigational equipment to ensure your safety and peace of mind while out at sea. The fishing grounds lie approximately 40 miles offshore, and it'll take about an hour to reach them. Your target species for offshore fishing include Red and Lane Snapper, Amberjack, and Kingfish. Captain Robert will guide you on which species can be kept, and he'll even fillet your catch for you after the trip. When you choose Texas Fins and Feathers, there's no age restriction for kids, but life vests on board fit children over 10. For younger children, bring your own life vests. We provide top-notch fishing gear from Penn for a great angling experience. Live bait is included, and you can buy it before or during the trip. Remember to get a fishing license, and you can bring your own food and drinks, stored in the captain's cooler. There's an extra charge for fuel on the day. Be prepared with sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat, and you're ready for an awesome offshore adventure. Book now for a memorable fishing trip!
