We kicked off our day bright and early and had an absolutely fantastic time! I honestly can't praise our experience with Texas Fins & Feathers enough. I'd easily give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. We had three enthusiastic boys with us who had a million questions, and the team treated them with the utmost care. This allowed my husband and me to thoroughly enjoy the experience without any concerns about the boys being a bother or getting in the way. The wealth of knowledge shared, coupled with the incredible experience, truly made the trip outstanding. Our boys haven't stopped talking about the various fish species, bait, and already planning which season they want to return for. We've proudly earned the titles of best mom and dad, as well as best uncle and aunt. If it were possible, we'd be back to book every weekend!

We successfully caught high-quality fish and reached our limit for snappers in about an hour or less, with each one weighing around 6-10 pounds. This success came just after a weather front had passed, which seemed to cause all the other fish to stop biting. However, this wasn't for lack of effort from the Captain, who tried everything to find us more fish. Although I may never have the chance to fish in the Gulf again, if the opportunity arises, I would definitely choose to go out with Captain Perry once more.
